Opened Out to the Community

Engaging with our local community is important in the life and on-going work of Holy Trinity, even more so in this our Centenary year.

With this in mind and to help promote local events, Margaret Nicholson, Chair of the HT Centenary Planning Group, helped to staff the Community Stand at the Food Market on Armstrong Bridge to promote both the Centenary Exhibition and the Jesmond Festival.

Centenary postcards have also been delivered to every home in the parish and around local shops and businesses. Celebrating the centenary year has created a wonderful opportunity to tell the good news story of God’s constant faithfulness and love to those who live in Jesmond Vale and Sandyford, and further afield!

The Holy Trinity Centenary Exhibition runs until September, and is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am-1pm and Sundays from 1pm-3pm. There is a pop-up café and also activities for children.
