Allowing faith to grow in the youngest members of our congregation

Children are hugely important to the life and work of Holy Trinity

They are welcomed and valued as an integral part of our church community. Not only are our children given opportunities to learn about the Christian faith, they are also encouraged to explore and consider faith for themselves and are given opportunities to put their faith into action.

We want all our children to know that God loves and cares for them so much.

We have a wide range of groups that meet in the church hall on Sundays during the service

Diddy Disciples

Ages 0-4 years old.

Diddy Disciples sessions are lots of fun! We sing, hear a Bible story, place, have snacks, and pray. Children need to be accompanied by an adult until the age of 3 years, when they are then able to stay on their own. Adults are encouraged to join in with the sessions with their child.

Climbers

Reception to Year 3

Each session they will hear a bible story and begin to consider faith in God for themselves. They are encouraged to pray, take part in drama, games and make crafts. They regularly meet up with the Diddy Disciples to sing, and refreshments are often a highlight.

Explorers

Years 4 to 6

Each week children will hear from the bible and, through the use of drama, discussion, games and craft, will begin to apply that to their own lives. Explorers are encouraged to get involved in church life and have run cake stalls and other fundraising activities for good causes.

All-Age Services

Every few months we have child-friendly, all age services that engage particularly with our youngest members of the church family.
