Revd. Tim Sanderson

Tim is the Vicar at Holy Trinity Church. Together with the Staff Team and wider church leadership he has responsibility for leading the church into growth. He has a particular interest in how the church engages with its community.

Heather Bird

Heather leads our work with young people aged 11-18. She heads up our Sunday Morning programme, outreach work with young people and midweek discipleship groups. Among other skills, she's great at making pizza, and would like to challenge anyone to a game of Uno.

Dot oversees our small group network, supporting and resourcing current groups and encouraging new ones.

Rachael Farrimond

Rachael works from the church office and is the first point of contact by phone, email or in person. She is responsible for overseeing the smooth running of events, programmes, HR and administrative systems, and church hall bookings.

Operations Manager

Steph Sanderson

Steph leads our bimonthly Messy Church initiative and is also responsible for co-ordinating our children's work on Sunday mornings. She co-leads our parent & toddler group Trinity Tots, and is part of the local Open The Book team.

Sharon Challand

Sharon is our Community Worker. She is exploring and pioneering new initiatives and opportunities to grow God’s Kingdom in the parish. She also oversees our current programme of missional initiatives – Alpha, Jesmond Festival, and evangelistic services and events.

Liz is one of our Church Wardens with responsibilities including buildings, safeguarding and church grounds.

Tim is one of our Church Wardens and works closely with our Caretaker, Phil, to maintain our church, hall, and grounds.

Phil is our part-time caretaker and verger. His main role is to ensure everything is ready for worship and other special events at Holy Trinity, and to support the staff and wardens in taking care of our buildings.
